Our Founding Story
A Journey of Inevitability — Rooted in a Decade of Proven Impact
The foundation of SGe is rooted in the connected story of its founder, Shahar Matorin—a seasoned entrepreneur with 15+ years of experience leading startup communities and recognized as a "super connector" and global ecosystem builder.
After 12 years of helping scale Startup Grind into the world's leading startup community, connecting 5 million entrepreneurs across 300+ cities, Shahar focused on launching SGe to build the next layer of the global startup ecosystem.

Inspired by the anticipated shift in tech, realizing the need to prepare youth with tools, soft skills, and networks for the high-tech ecosystem.

Years within Startup Grind's global family cemented the decision to establish SGe as a global Non-Profit, beginning in Israel.
